This is your chance to secure a challenging role with ITT Water & Wastewater, a company focused on the supply and servicing of equipment used across a broad array of industries including mining, wastewater, industrial, agriculture, residential and commercial.

The company is looking to appoint a talented Design Engineer to provide engineering design services to its centralised Contracts & Projects Department, as well as its network of Branches across Australia and New Zealand. The design work will relate to the fulfillment of customer orders for ITT Water & Wastewater’s more design intensive products such as surface aerators, fine bubble aeration systems, with possible future expansion to reverse osmosis/membrane filter systems, UV/ozone disinfection systems, under drain filter systems, sludge handling systems, package water/wastewater treatment systems, etc. The design work may also relate to pump stations and mixer systems depending upon demand.

The prerequisites for this role are:
•         Mechanical engineering degree, along with a minimum of 3-5 years hands on experience, in a mechanical design capacity in a commercial environment, preferably within the water & wastewater industry. Ideally, the individual should have some exposure to surface aerators and fine bubble aeration systems.
•         A capacity to develop creative and practical solutions to engineering issues for process based systems, within a given time frame;
•         Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a genuine commitment to providing a high level of customer service;
•         Well developed computer skills are a must. In particular, extensive experience utilizing 3D CAD such as Solid Edge ST3, 2D AUTOCAD 2010, and MS Excel are essential.
