The School of Systems, Management and Leadership provides undergraduate and graduate coursework and carries out research in engineering and information systems. Its focus is on continuous innovation to provide leading edge programs on information technology management, leadership, engineering system design, infrastructure policy analysis and development, management of engineering and IT projects, and to carry out research in these areas.

The School takes an interdisciplinary approach in the development of innovative strategies for delivering technology-based solutions to meet the increasingly complex requirements found in today’s business environment. The School has a vacancy for an Associate Professor to provide leadership in research and teaching in providing solutions that combine social development and technology to complex systems.

The successful candidate will have a demonstrable proven international track record in academic and research leadership and teaching achievements and will be expected to actively contribute to research and teaching in the School, including productive collaborations with academic staff.

Also, the successful candidate will possess a PhD and evidence of high quality research publications and will participate in interdisciplinary teams in research and in developing best practice teaching methods that include critical thinking and learning abilities needed in today’s diverse and complex environments.

Salary range: $118,010 to $125,670 per annum. The University offers salary packaging plus attractive superannuation.
