Building Surveyor - Beilby - Vic

Our client is seeking an experienced, qualified and ideally registered Building Surveyor to take on a leadership role with this busy privately owned practice.

This Building Surveyor has been in operation for over 15 years with an established track record in commercial, domestic, retail and industrial projects across 3 offices.  

Reporting to and working with the owner of this organisation you will manage relationships with key clients and lead a small dedicated team of building surveyors.

Based in the South East Suburbs you will benefit from working in a growth corridor, avoiding peak hour traffic and working within a very family friendly environment.

As Building Surveyor you will be performing a range of functions including but not limited to:

•    Assessment of applications for building permit.
•    Reviewing architectural, engineering and design documentation.
•    Applications to reporting authorities for consents (MFB, CFA, Councils & Water Authorities).
•    Applications to the Building Appeals Board (BAB) for modifications.
•    Assessment of public protection proposals.
•    Issuing of building permits.
•    Issuing of Stage Permits where required.
•    Mandatory inspections throughout construction and other inspections as required.
•    Issuing occupancy permits and/or certificates of final inspection.

To be successful in this role you will need to have well developed communication skills, strong client skills and looking for a career path that includes management.  Current registration or a desire to secure registration will be highly regarded.
