The Transport Infrastructure Sub Program within Brisbane City Council is responsible for planning and delivery of major transport network improvements and rehabilitation projects. 

As Communications Officer, you will have responsibility to develop, manage and deliver the community engagement and communications strategies for Transport Infrastructure projects. This will include all bikeway and road projects in the southern Brisbane area. 

You will be actively communicating information about benefits, construction progress and key milestones with a variety of community groups and residents of Brisbane.  

This rewarding role will see you managing varied communication projects which will include:

•    coordinating communications activities for transport infrastructure projects
•    implementing and evaluating community engagement strategies
•    providing strategic community engagement support
•    establishing and implementing framework for management of communication activities for construction and design phases of infrastructure projects.

We are seeking a self-starter who can use their initiative and understanding of the construction industry to find solutions.

Your M and prioritise effectively will be essential to your success in this role.
