Helpdesk Engineer – Managed IT Services - Technetics Consulting Pty. Ltd.Seeking to a Join a Market Leader Who Rewards its People? Do You Have Strong Service Delivery Skills? We offer highly sought after and business essential services including Managed IT Support, SPAM Protection, Backup and Disaster Recovery, Virtualisation, Data Recovery, VoIP and more. Due to solid growth we have a fantastic entry level opportunity for a Helpdesk Engineer to join our friendly team and be at the forefront of our client support services. The Role: • Real-time alert monitoring and actions • Maintenance and support of clients' network infrastructure • Working with other members of the technical support team • Provide total client support both on-site and remote • Research new and upcoming technologies • Delivery of technical support and advice to various clients • Prepare concise technical documentation and client proposals • Work independently with limited supervision • Work closely with the sales and account management teams • Own vehicle and current Victorian driver’s license Essential Skills: • Excellent communication and written skills • Solid knowledge of Microsoft platforms (AD, Exchange, SBS2003 etc.) • Good understanding of Network topology • Strong history in service delivery to various clients would be an advantage • Great attention to detail and presentation Personal Skills: • Results driven and highly efficient • Energetic and highly motivated • Friendly with a great sense of humour • Passionate and a creative thinker Desirable Skills: • Tertiary qualifications in IT Support disciplines • Technical Knowledge of Apple, Linux, WatchGuard and VMware • Basic Knowledge of Managed Services Platforms • Microsoft or Apple Certification • Working Knowledge of SaaS and Cloud Solutions Remuneration: • Individually negotiated based on experience (circa $40k to $50k package) • Car and Travel Allowance • Other training incentives Our Promise: We offer a professional, friendly and relaxed working environment.
