The Role
Working directly with big name clients you will help to deliver cutting edge business/technology solutions. You will be passionate about what you do and excited by the challenge of participating in and (for more senior candidates) leading medium to large scale complex design and implementation teams to turn vision into reality.

Skills & Experience
My client is not looking to fill a specific role but rather grow their team of Consultants with motivated individuals who are looking to be challenged and work in the fast paced digital world. If you have skills in any of the 3 area’s mentioned below (Portals, ECM & UI) then I am keen to talk with you.

Portal Profile
•    Three or more years (3y+) of experience in the Portal / Web Content Management domain. Experience ideally ranging from inception: strategy definition, pre-sales, requirement analysis, planning; to implementation and deployment.
•    Strong exposure to or good understanding of the following concepts: Portlets / WebParts / JSR-168/286, JavaScript, XML/XSLT, JSON/YAML, CSS, Ajax, Rich Internet Application (RIA) technologies such as Adobe Flash/Flex, Java, Silverlight. Portal Installation and Configuration, Portal Development, Information Architecture / Taxonomy, Search (SEO/SEM) and Search Tools such as FAST, Google or Endeca, Web Content Management, Web Content Migration.
•    Deep experience in at least one of the following key technologies: Oracle Weblogic Portal, IBM WebSphere Portal, Microsoft SharePoint, Open-Source (such as Liferay) or custom developed Portals based on J2EE, ASP/.NET, PHP or other related technologies.

Enterprise Content Management Profile
•    Three or more years (3y+) of experience in the Enterprise Content Management/Knowledge Management domain. Experience ideally ranging from inception: strategy definition, pre-sales, requirement analysis, planning; to implementation and deployment.
•    Strong exposure to or good understanding of the following concepts: Document Management Systems and Processes , Workflow, Imaging, Web Content Management, Records Management, Digital Assets Management, Collaboration, RSS/Atom Content Syndication, Wiki,  and Enterprise Search.
•    Deep experience in at least one of the following key technologies: EMC Documentum, Oracle Universal Content Management / Universal Records Management, IBM FileNet, OpenText Livelink, Microsoft SharePoint 2007/2010, Autonomy Interwoven, Open-Source solutions such as Joomla, Drupal, Wordpress, Nuxeo, Confluence or MediaWiki.

User Experience/User Interface design
•    Three or more years (3y+) of experience that demonstrates mastery in the art of expressing multidimensional data sets, or complex concepts with clear and compelling visualisations. Graphic Design skills or a good level of proficiency in aesthetic design is a bonus.
•    Robust people interaction and analytic skills that includes front-end Requirements Analysis, workshop / community Facilitation, diplomacy, persuasion and sound negotiation capabilities combined with ability to positively interact with senior client stakeholders.
•    Strong exposure to the following concepts: Web usability & accessibility, User Centric Design (UCD), Wireframing, Thick / Thin client and web Application Interface Design, (web/UI) Standards Compliance, Information Architecture / Taxonomy definition and Usability Testing.
•    Deep experience in one or more of the following key technologies: Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Catalyst, Flex), Microsoft Expression Blend Suite and/or JavaFX.
•    Experience visualising and delivering Rich Internet Applications is desirable.
