The Company
This established, successful manufacturing company is looking for an IT Manager to join its experienced senior management team.

The Role
Reporting into the CEO, and supported by one IT Assistant, you will have full autonomy ensuring the resilience, integrity and performance of all systems and networks. Integral to the role is the development of the Manufacturing Information System to provide the functionality to effectively manage and report the production, quality and inventory and to integrate into SAP.

•    System maintenance, upgrades, security, disaster recovery
•    Project Management
•    Telecommunication and data requirements/ contracts
•    Asset Management
•    Manage external IT support contractors
•    MS Active Directory and Exchange administration
•    MS SQL 2000 and 2005 development and administration
•    VMWare
•    Analyse and recommend improvements to business systems.

This is a hands on role utilising all your technical knowledge and experience where you will also work closely with other managers across all departments in the business.

Your Profile
To be successful you will have solid experience gained within the manufacturing industry and ideally have worked with SAP or other ERP systems.  You will enjoy working autonomously and relying on your own initiative to solve problems while having the flexibility to handle routine issues when they arise.
