Due to unprecedented company growth they now have an opportunity for an experienced Mechanical Design & Development Engineer to join their D & D team based in Sydney. Coming from a similar healthcare or high technology background your main focus will be to develop medical device products through mechanical design and development, process development, validation and verification. Central to your success in the role will be your ability to identify design solutions, develop and trial prototypes together with creating relevant design documentation. You will be primarily tasked with identifying process solutions and trialing them together with necessary process documentation. The role will also involve following Validation & Verification procedures and conducting design verification tests.

To be successful in this role you will be ideally coming from a medical device, pharmaceutical, defence company or other highly regulated industry. You will hold a Degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent. A number year’s experience of mechanical design in a Product Development environment using CAD tools will be highly regarded. Additionally you will be knowledgeable in Validation & Verification principles and mechanical testing and you will have strong skills to write technical documents in a clear manner. In return mentoring and ongoing training will be available for the right candidate in addition to a very competitive salary package.
