PHP Developer/Architect in Adelaide - 2moro mobile


Motopia is a ASX listed full service mobile marketing solutions provider comprising of several specialised mobile application, content and services companies with offices in Adelaide, Brisbane, Melbourne, Sydney, Los Angeles, London and Singapore.

We are growing our Adelaide development team to further develop the existing platform and add additional components that exploit the mobile and social ecosystem.

Senior Developer / Architect Role require:

•    5 or more years web application development experience.
•    Understanding and Implementation of scalable infrastructure for network services.
•    Understanding and Implementation of SOA, and n-tiered architectures.
•    Object Oriented design and development; understanding and implementation of Design Patterns.
•    Agile Project Management Methodologies (in particular Scrum).
•    Understanding and experience of Test Driven Development, and continuous integration environment.
•    Ability to mentor and supervise junior developers. 

Junior and Entry Level Roles require: 

•    2 to 5 years web development experience in PHP5, SQL, CSS, Javascript.
•    Understanding and exposure to MVC frameworks or layered architectures.
•    Knowledge of current web development and design trends.
•    HTML and CSS development, creating wireframes from graphical design files.

Additional desirable attributes include:

•    Graphic design experience for Web and Application interfaces.
•    Any experience or appreciation for mobile and/or social media.
•    Contribution to Open Source projects.
•    Java Enterprise development experience.
•    Experience with mobile application environment, such as Android, iOS, WP7, J2ME.

Current platform uses the following technologies:

•    Kohana PHP Framework
•    Smarty PHP Template Engine
•    CakePHP
•    JMS and ActiveMQ
•    Camel Integration Framework

Additional or alternate technologies will be considered if appropriate.
