Due to business growth and movement within the Capital Delivery Program we have a new role available for a Project Manager to join Queensland Rail's Network Projects team.

As a Project Manager, you will:
•    Develop project plans and scopes, programs, risk management plans, cost plans and cash flows.
•    Determine resource requirements as well as contractual and procurement strategies to be adopted for the project and engage and commission external services providers.
•    Conduct and implement risk management and value engineering activities throughout the project life cycle, conducting consultations with internal and external stakeholders in relation to the project.
•    Monitor and manage the implementation of project activities in relation to progress against program and budget, cash flow, work quality and track possession utilisation.
•    Provide reports against project milestones as negotiated with stakeholders.

This role will challenge and stretch your consultation skills as you will be working with a dedicated and close knit team of project managers and rail specific engineering resources to deliver works to commuter focused internal and external stakeholders.

A civil engineering background is preferable however any engineering background with the appropriate experience will be considered.

You will be reporting to a Senior Project Manager and based in Brisbane's CBD. You will need to demonstrate that you have proven client management experience and a track record in the successful delivery of infrastructure projects.

Please note that although this role is based in Brisbane CBD, there will be a requirement to travel to meet project commitments in regional areas in South East Queensland.
