Quality Coordinator – Community Care (part-time) - Blue Cross Residential


Blue Cross Community and Residential Services is a highly reputable and dynamic organization committed to being a leader of Best Practice in the delivery of Aged and Community Care Services. As our team is experiencing phenomenal growth, we are seeking a new Quality Coordinator to join the team!

Reporting to the Manager of Community Care, your role is to provide continuous quality improvement in accordance with organisational philosophy, policies, procedures, contractual obligations and quality reporting standards.  In addition, you will embrace our Blue Cross STAR Fish principles of choosing your attitude, making people’s day, being there and having fun at work.

Your key areas of responsibilities will include but not be limited to:

•    Management of the Quality Management Systems within Community Care
•    Providing support/education to Community staff
•    Reviewing industry best practice
•    Management of the complaints/compliments system
•    Provide Quality Systems support in obtaining successful accreditation outcomes for the Services’ programs
•    Maintenance of Community Care Document Control System

To be successfully considered for this unique opportunity, you must have a clinical background and a minimum of 3 years’ experience in community aged care, preferably in a quality role.

Qualifications as an RN1 or an allied health professional will be highly advantageous.  You will demonstrate superior skills and experience in developing, implementing and managing quality management systems with a proven record in auditing, policy/procedure development and release & review.

In addition you will have experience in meeting accreditation frameworks with a high level of oral/written communication competency and strong data collection and analysis skills.

Above all you will be passionate about community care with a strong desire to maximise the quality of life for our clients, assisting them to continue to live independently in the community.

This is an ideal permanent part-time position (25 hours per week) based at Central Services in Hawthorn East with an immediate start. An excellent remuneration package will commensurate upon skills and experience including access to a company vehicle when required, laptop and mobile phone.

A full driver's licence and a current Police Check is essential.
