Sales & Marketing Executive

 

• Varied role involving marketing, sales, CRM management, admin

• CBD

• $65-70K+s


An amazing and coveted opportunity has become available within this global marketing solutions based organisation in the CBD. Working closely with the Managing Director, you will be responsible for managing the execution of the marketing plan and supporting the sales team in the acquisition and retention of clients mainly in the AsiaPac region. The role is also a support to the Managing Director and Finance Director for general administrative tasks.  Experience using Salesforce is a must along with exposure to direct marketing and email marketing.


WHAT ARE THE DUTIES?


Marketing (40%)


• Assist in the development, implementation & evaluation of the annual marketing plan that supports all key organisational targets

• Coordinate and execute marketing campaigns and tactics to promote and generate leads via existing customer database, as well as new prospects

• Coordinate, produce and evaluate all internal and external communication elements including newsletters, e-communications, website, marketing collateral, Intranet etc

• Manage the ordering of marketing collateral and anything logo related (business stationery, customer service stickers, CD mailers etc)

• Coordinate and project manage participation in trade shows and industry events

• Evaluate suitability of industry publications for advertising opportunities

• Regularly monitor presence in the Press and communicate news internally

• Maintain contact with UK office, keeping up to date on branding, programs and processes


Sales Coordination (30%)


• Develop presentations, collateral, positioning documents and sales tools to support the sales team

• Coordinate Sales Reporting requirements via Salesforce

• Coordinate quarterly sales conference from conception to execution and follow up, including organizing meeting rooms, catering and equipment needs


CRM Support (20%)


• Utilise deep working knowledge of Salesforce.com or similar CRM and adopt role of local expert for business users

• Create reports and dashboards for local users & regularly review their use/applicability to the business

• Work closely with Salesforce backend reporting & analytics to assist local country teams to acquire, develop & retain customers

• Focus on database quality – regular review of data for cleansing, and to determine if there are knowledge/process gaps

• Establish actions, procedures and internal rules for managing contact data

• Lead management & manage ‘web to lead’ process

• Create campaigns and manage invite/contact lists

• Liaise with external vendors re sending of mass emails (newsletters/product offers etc)

• Create campaign ROI reports and dashboards for local users & regularly review their use



Office Admin (10%)


• Manage travel and accommodation bookings for the business

• Coordinate local and international meetings, arrange travel, meeting arrangements and visitor accommodation

• Assist with coordinating office events – staff team activities, Christmas party etc

• Manage internal intranet postings


WHAT DO I NEED TO MAKE THIS HAPPEN?


• At least 5 years previous marketing/office management experience in a B2B sales/consulting environment.

• Solid working experience using Salesforce CRM software

• Strong administrative skills

• Tertiary qualifications would be well regarded

• Advanced MS Office – Word, Excel & PowerPoint

• Total integrity and strong work ethic

• Mature communicator - being able to own your role and take full responsibility for decisions

• Strong business acumen & ability to liaise on all levels

• Strategic and lateral thinker

• Ability to ‘make things happen’, resourceful


WHAT IS THE SALARY, HOURS ETC?


• This role is paying $65-70K+s

• Hours are 8.30 to 5.30 pm however this may vary depending on phone hook ups with Asian clients

• Ability to work in a very creative and solutions based environment

• Stability and loyalty with the opportunity to grow over time
