Permanent opportunity within a consultancy for an experienced Support Consultant with Finance experience.

With over 2+ years professional experience applicants must have a deep understanding the application of automated systems in the support of business functions and processes.

Working within a medium sized team the core function of the group is to deal with onsite client feedback and then follow through with incidents with internal IT team.

Primary Job Functions include:
•    Providing excellent support and service to internal and external clients
•    Working on the Hotline as per rostered hours (after Qualifying period)
•    Analysing software issues lodged to the support area by the client base
•    Attending to telephone queries
•    Logging issues into the internal systems to assist in resolving software issues
•    Liaising with Business Analysts and Programmers as necessary
•    Testing of software changes and enhancements
•    Responding to overseas offices’ queries
•    Mentoring colleagues on an ongoing basis

To apply candidates must have:
•    Degree in Commerce, Finance or Business
•    Strong knowledge of the Investment industry
•    High level of interpersonal behaviour
•    Excellent written and oral communication skills
•    Outstanding analytical skills
•    Ability to work well and think clearly under pressure
•    Ability to understand architecture/infrastructure of software
•    As the frontline support the successful candidate will work autonomously in problem solving while engaging with appropriate internal and external stakeholders to ensure the right result

Rotational roster applies with no weekend work after your initial qualifying period.
