We are currently seeking a Systems Infrastructure Support Engineer – do you want to join our team? The role of the Systems Infrastructure Support Engineer is to provide infrastructure support to our global platform that is used to support our Managed Services Customers. In this position you will be responsible for: • Working in a mission critical environment that is a 24/7 environment, your standard business day will be 8:30 – 5:30pm though you will be required to participate in a rotating on-call roster and offer flexibility are required • You will be responsible for providing Systems Management including support, management, development and maintenance to the infrastructure that is used to support over 120,000 devices!! • You will be working with a broad range of technologies including EMC, SAN, VMWare, Microsoft, Linux, Biztalk, Tivoli etc in a role that is operationally focused. You will also be involved in infrastructure update projects as a secondary activity Your previous experience will include: • Experience administering VMware/ESX, Linux, Microsoft and Solaris environments • Experience with networking (routing, switching and IPsec/other VPN technologies) • Experience in working with cloud computing environments, commercial backup solutions, various web server technologies, commercial and open source firewalls, and various scripting and automation languages You will be rewarded with a responsive and balanced workplace, unparalleled IT industry positioning, excellent benefits and salary structure along with a talented and focused team.
