Wireless Network Engineer - The Response Centre

The Response Centre is a major provider of solutions to the transport and logistics sector and is currently looking for a very hands-on IT Manager to look after a small team primarily based here in Sydney though with developers overseas in both the UK and the US.

As this is a global role there will be an element of international travel, initially this could be as much as 50% though this will decrease as you become more settled in the position

This is a highly technical role and therefore you must have in-depth knowledge of the following:
•    Windows Server 2008
•    Active Directory - Multiple site experience mandatory
•    SQL Server 2008
•    Exchange Server 2010
•    Hyper-V
•    Terminal Services/Terminal Server Gateway
•    Local + Global replication/disaster recovery

You should have highly developed analytical + problem solving skills and as this role is part of the senior management team you will have the ability to negotiate and persuade at an executive level.

The team is small, well established and highly technical so the successful candidate will be able to focus on providing structure and guidance rather than training, as a result it's conceivable that a Senior Engineer - with basic management skills - who wants to make a move into a more formal management role could also be considered for this opportunity.
